Smyth County Community Foundation Mission Statement:
To support the mission of Smyth County Community Hospital by identifying and supporting qualified
programs and projects that contribute to the improved physical, mental, and emotional health status of
the citizens of Smyth County and the service area of the hospital.
The Smyth County Community Foundation (hereinafter referred to as Foundation) is devoted to the
health and well-being of all residents in Smyth County and, given this, has developed a grant process
for individuals and organizations to request grant funding for projects that specifically benefit area
communities and residents.
